Basic practicalities 

 

Wifi 
There is free Wifi across the University of Amsterdam campus. If you have eduroam, this service should connect automatically. If you don't, please check the daily changing conference Wifi passwords posted on the screens by the entrance of the campus A-wing (where all conference rooms are).

Refill-your-own cup 
The UvA has eliminated all single-use cups and you will be provided with an own special conference cup! Please keep this cup handy to refill at the coffee/tea and water stations. 

Payment methods 
Take into account that some food/drink establishments no longer accept cash (card only), and that it is not possible to pay with a creditcard in the supermarket (debit or cash only). You can buy PT tickets via www.gvb.nl or swipe your debit/creditcard upon entering the transport unit/station. Note that it is not possible to pay with cash anywhere in the public transport system.
